Worth Kilcrease is a licensed professional counselor-intern and holds a Certification in Thanatology: Death, Dying, and Bereavement from the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC).

Worth is dedicated to counseling those who are bearing the mental, emotional, social, moral, and spiritual burdens related to being a devoted caregiver, to suffering from long-term illness, to facing imminent death, and to rebuilding a world without their loved one present. He is thoroughly familiar with the stresses of being a caregiver, having comforted many beginning in 2001 with his work at Hospice Austin.

Worth has extensive experience leading support groups including several ones for Hospice Austin, the Perinatal Loss Group for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Austin and Central Texas, and the Donor Family Group for The Blood and Tissue Center of Central Texas. Besides counseling and facilitating support groups.

Worth has made presentations on death, dying, and bereavement to numerous organizations and churches, and has appeared on the Austin Now and Austin Faith Dialogue television programs. He is an adjunct faculty member at St. Edward's University, writes a weekly blog
[ The Journey Ahead ] and is the president and a co-founder of Solace Center of the Hills, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people rebuild their lives after a loss.
